puff....

It was one of those winter mornings which made me know about this and made me feel write it over here...
As I am an hotelier now, it’s been a must to visit market to buy vegetables for my hotel every day. But the problem lies in waking up early in the morning and travelling all the way from my home to K.R Market which is at a distance of 20 kilometers. When my dad used to describe the scenario of the vegetable market I used to feel it would be awesome visiting there as fresh vegetables would be available at reasonable price. But once I have started visiting there, the other face of coin is visible to me.
Coming to the point, it was one of those chilled mornings when I completely covered with woolen clothes went to market; even though it was not the first visit, somewhere deep inside I felt lazy to visit, search for good, fresh vegetables, bargain, pack it and then bring them back…Giving the contract to someone for doing the above mentioned job was swirling round my head. Thinking of this, I reached a shop to buy coriander, I was enquiring about rates and suddenly there arrived a policeman to take bribe, the lady requested him that till now no business is done and I’ll give as soon as possible. I dint even have an idea what policeman would do. Policeman completely lost his temper stamped all vegetables and hit her in a stick which government gave him to use it on some criminals and took some coriander and by then lady gave him 50 rupees. He, who should have shut his mouth and left the spot, evaded abusing her “bitch”. She started crying and with no other option left for myself I disappeared from the spot. Then I witnessed a middlemen cheating a lady in showing fake accounts by saying 111+26+123=220.that is where I understood markets are ruled by middlemen and no one else. Believe me guys, I have never witnessed such a corruption ever before. Wherever your eyes pop, you find corruption there… the ultimate loser is our poor farmers. They are paid 50paise for handful of coriander leaves, sold at 4 rupees in market and sold at 10 rupees in shops near your houses. Now you can easily make out who gains who loses.Thats the reason behind suicide of farmers.. Reason is not government..It’s the middlemen who are killing the farmer…
And the corruption done by policemen over there has no limits. It’s totally out of control..I wish someday there is a smile on farmer’s face and this corrupt people washed away by lord nature’s punishment to bad people as there is a saying “kalaya tasmai namaha”...
